History
IMCP
Since
the existence of VZR Swimming Team an annual
meeting has been organised. Along with the
Championships of Oost-Vlaanderen (november) and
the annual Cup of Oost-Vlaanderen (february), VZR
organises the International Meeting Cyr Provost
now for the 9th time.
With
Cyr Provost Senior as President of VZR Swimming
Team the IMCP went international with swimmers
from Calais who were the first international
guests to enter in this competition. Over the
years VZR welcomed swimmers from Calais, Leforest,
Almere and SHAPE and of course several Belgian
teams.
The
last 3 editions were won by our Dutch friends from
Almere. Due to health problems of the
president, there was no IMCP organised in 2005.
But in 2006 the IMCP is back and stronger than
before on the 3th of december, though.
